You’ll be happy to know former Mayor Rudy Giuliani says he is “doing well” after falling at a barbecue while vacationing on Long Island over the weekend. That’s one hell of a way to clear the line for the smoked ribs.
Rudy had to have emergency knee surgery; although he’s still at the hospital, he’s apparently up and walking around. He claims his knee buckled, mostly likely as a result of his old baseball days playing catcher.
“I was a catcher from a very young age, and I have suffered with ‘catcher’s knee’ for years, and the doctors said it would deteriorate,” he explained.
Of course, sitting like this day after day has gotta wreak havoc on your knees, too.
(I know when I said Giuliani and “playing catcher” and “on his knees,” you thought that joke was going in an entirely different direction. GET YOUR MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTER, FOLKS! I would never use that gross joke here. Because I’m saving it for Hannity.)
